Lake, pool, 200 acres
You stay on site at Camp Echo with the run of the grounds: a private lake, a swimming pool, and more than 200 acres of fields and wooded trails for hiking, fishing, and downtime. Adults stay in semi-private or private rooms, depending on availability.
Cabins and counselors
Dedicated IJC counselors supervise judoka under 18 in youth cabins. Beyond mentorship on and off the mat, staff lead activities all week: a scavenger hunt, a fishing derby, the ninja room, and plenty more.
Three meals a day
Camp Echo’s staff serve three buffet-style meals a day in the dining hall at set times. Snacks and drinks of your own are welcome, but meals are covered.
Shiai
day.
The week ends with our annual Shiai. The tournament puts everything to the test: the morning classes, the specialty sessions, and a week of nightly randori.
