Six nights on the mat with three-time Olympian Angelica Delgado as guest instructor. From Olympic athletes and national champions to white belts and youth, everybody is welcome.
Classes are taught each morning and afternoon by our highly ranked instructors. IJC balances instructional time with practice as students test their knowledge with nightly randori.
The week culminates with our annual Shiai on Friday.
Three-time Olympian at -52kg (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024), two-time Pan American Games bronze medalist, and for most of the last decade Team USA’s highest world-ranked judoka. Taught the basics at age nine by her father Miguel, a former Cuban national team member, in their Miami backyard. She leads the afternoon class every day of camp.

Ninety minutes from New York City. Three buffet-style meals a day from the Camp Echo kitchen. Adults in semi-private or private rooms, youth in supervised cabins with counselors. Between classes there is swimming, fishing, hiking, a scavenger hunt, a fishing derby, and the ninja room.
